Bob the Builder
Shelter, Bob the Builder and HIT Entertainment have been working in partnership since the beginning of 2010.
Together, we aim to raise awareness of the problems faced by homeless and badly housed children and families throughout the UK, and to generate support for positive change to end the housing crisis for good.
Shelter and HIT Entertainment will harness the power of Bob’s creative, can-do spirit to show how Shelter’s expert advice and support can make life better for families in housing need.
Lesli Zador, HIT Entertainment Brand Manager said: 'The partnership between Bob the Builder and Shelter is a perfect fit. Together we will be able to create and support some unique opportunities, while having a direct impact on vulnerable communities affected by bad housing and homelessness.'
Bob steps up
To show what a good sport he is, in February 2010 Bob took part in Vertical Rush, Shelter’s tower running event. Along with 850 other runners, he climbed the tallest building in the City of London, Tower 42, to help raise awareness of Shelter’s work.
