Since 2006, Shelter and Douglas and Gordon have worked in partnership to highlight the growing gap between those at the top and the bottom of the housing ladder.

The partnership today

Shelter and Douglas and Gordon (D&G) have been working together this year to promote Shelter’s new campaign ‘Now is the Time’.  D&G understands that from the homeless person in temporary accommodation to the aspiring first time buyer, people in every type of housing are experiencing the distress of the current housing market.

The Now is the Time campaign aims to right housing wrongs and make housing more affordable. Shelter believes that in order to tackle the problem of housing affordability we must build more affordable homes, protect people from bad housing and homelessness and end the housing divide.

Active campaigning

D&G have been asking customers to join them in helping to right housing wrongs by signing up to the campaign, and will be doing this by using print adverts in their shop windows and publications and web banners on their website.
