Crest Nicholson

Just as Shelter is committed to helping people in need find somewhere they can call home, Crest Nicholson is committed to building homes for all.

Launched in 2002, our three-year partnership focused on the essential help and advice that only Shelter can provide through our free national helpline for homeless or badly housed people. Working alongside Crest Nicholson's ethos of investing in our communities, the funds raised over the three years of our partnership will support a helpline advisor to answer over 7,000 calls.

The fact Crest Nicholson employees at all levels embraced the Shelter campaign was key to its success. With support from Crest Nicholson, staff throughout the company took part in a wide range of fundraising activities, ranging from dress down days, annual awards luncheons, Christmas parties and corporate golf days to more gruelling activities such as the New York and London marathons.

In 2002 and 2003 Crest Nicholson teams took part in Shelter's Three Peaks Challenge (with some of the 2002 participants coming back for more in 2003!)

Crest Nicholson and their employees raised a record breaking £42,000 in 2002 alone, against their annual target for £25,000! This is an excellent example of employees being so supported and motivated by Shelter and our cause that their fundraising efforts exceeded everyone's expectations.
