Grainger

The staff at Grainger, the UK's largest quoted residential property investor, started fundraising for Shelter in 2005.
In the first 12 months they smashed their original £10,000 target and raised an astonishing £50,000 for us.
Employee involvement
Grainger staff supported Shelter with real enthusiasm; running marathons and entering teams in the gruelling Three Peaks Challenge event. Four employees helped build homes for families in Mexico as part of our Building Futures event - a once in a lifetime experience. Regular dress-down days also made fundraising easy.
Payroll giving
At the start of 2006 Grainger launched 'Love Giving', a payroll-giving scheme which proved immensely popular with Grainger's 200 employees and won Grainger, Shelter and Workplace Giving UK an Institute of Fundraising award.
As a major force within the housing sector, Grainger is a great model for other landlords, through its work Shelter to improve housing policy and raise funds.
