Grand Designs
Grand Designs Live London proudly supported Shelter for two years running.
Shelter's Architect in the House scheme publicly launched at the show which returned to ExCeL London from 1 to 9 May 2010. Grand Designs Live also asked customers to make a donation on tickets purchased, and volunteers carried out bucket collections at exit points.
In 2009, Shelter raised money through voluntary donations on ticket sales and sold limited edition prints designed by prints made by Timorous Beasties, Boy Fitz Hammond and Al Murphy and bags made by textiles and fashion legend, Celia Birtwell.
Grand Designs Live London is the UK’s number one consumer event for design and inspiration for the home. Based on the hugely successful Channel 4 television show - presented by design guru Kevin McCloud – it is packed with innovative and inspirational ideas and products for the home.
