Marsh
In January 2004, Shelter began its 'charity of the year' relationship with Marsh, the leading risk and insurance services firm.
The relationship saw Marsh employees involving themselves in a variety of fundraising events, including a Sailing Regatta on the Solent, a Midsummer Ball at the prestigious Hurlingham Club in Putney, and the Marsh '76 Club Walk' where over 500 employees took on the challenge of orienteering themselves through the Cumbrian countryside.
Our relationship with Marsh not only benefited from established events, as described above, but from others that Marsh employees at offices across the UK organised independently. They included head shaves, a sleep over in an igloo in Sweden, office fun days and a comedy night in a famous London comedy club.
