In 2010 Santander became the lead sponsors of Shelter’s Cake Time – the delicious fundraising event that encourages people to bake or buy cakes and have fun selling them to friends, family and colleagues.
All the funds raised from Cake Time go towards the vital services Shelter delivers across the UK supporting people in housing need.
Cake Time raised more than £50,000 in 2010, with around 330 groups taking part.
Following this fantastic success in 2010, Santander will be sponsoring Cake Time again 2011 and both organisations hope it will be even bigger and better.
