NME is gearing up for one of the biggest nights in the music calendar and we're offering you the chance to be there. Or why not catch the awards tour as it rolls into town?
As the official charity partner for the awards, Shelter has a fistful of tour tickets up for grabs along with two tickets to the awards ceremony itself.
Win a seat at the Shockwaves NME Awards
The nominations are out and this is your chance to see the UK's hottest acts crowned at the biggest rock and roll party of the year.
London's Indig02 arena hosts the Shockwaves NME awards ceremony on 28 February. As the official charity partner to the event Shelter has two tickets to be won.
Enter now and you could be the lucky fan witnessing all the attitude, the onstage antics and star-studded performances as the poll winners are revealed.
The nominations
- Best new band: The Enemy, Foals, Joe Lean And The Jing Jang Jong, The Pigeon Detectives and The Wombats.
- Best British band: The Klaxons, Arctic Monkeys, Babyshambles, The Cribs and Muse.
- Best international band: Arcade Fire, Foo Fighters, The Killers, Kings Of Leon and My Chemical Romance.
The NME poll will also reveal the best solo artist, the best live event and top film of the year, and will pay a subversive tribute to the worst dressed act, the worst album and the villain of the year.

NME and Shelter are offering you the chance to join the party at one of the Shockwaves NME Awards Tour gigs. The line up features The Cribs, Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong, Does it Offend You, Yeah? and The Ting Tings.
We have tickets up for grabs - one pair for each of the tour dates listed on the competition page. If you're one of the lucky winners, you will automatically be allocated tickets at the venue closest to you ( indicated by your address details on the entry form). All you have to do is make your own way there.
Winners will be notified at least two days in advance of the gig, and tickets will be sent out by special delivery. If you don't want to leave it to pot luck then buy your own tickets via the NME website.
