Audioscope festival

Audioscope festival celebrates its tenth anniversary with three shows this November. The Oxford-based music fundraiser has raised more than £20,000 for Shelter since 2001.

The shows on 6, 10 and 20 November, held at intimate venue The Jericho, bring together bands from Oxford and across the UK, including punk legends Wire plus Dieter Moebius, Epic45, Felix and Laura Moody.

Audioscope co-organiser Stuart Fowkes said: ‘It's hard to believe that Audioscope has been going for ten years now, but we're enormously proud of what we've achieved.

‘While bringing some of what we consider to be the finest music in the world to Oxford, we've raised £20,000 to support Shelter's vital work. We've been planning this tenth anniversary special to celebrate a decade of using music to tackle homelessness.’

Louise Parkes, Director of Fundraising at Shelter, said: ‘We are extremely grateful to Stuart, Simon Minter and all the Audioscope team for raising so much money for Shelter over the years.

‘Thanks to their generosity and support, we have been able to make a huge difference to the lives of thousands of homeless and badly housed people across the country.’
