Radioman premiere in aid of Shelter
3 October 2012
New film Radioman about a homeless man turned film star is holding its UK premiere in support of Shelter.
Directed by Mary Kerr, the film tells the story of how Radioman (pictured) went from sleeping on the streets of New York to becoming a New York film set fixture. He appears in many well-known films and television shows including The Bourne Trilogy, Shutter Island and 30 Rock.
The film features interviews with famous actors including George Clooney, Helen Mirren, Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, Matt Damon and Robin Williams.
The UK premiere takes place on Tuesday 9 October at 8:30pm at the Cineworld Haymarket in central London.
Tickets are £15, and all proceeds are going to Shelter, to support our work helping homeless and badly housed people across the country.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Radioman himself, British director Mary Kerr, and a surprise guest.
