Shelter staff receiving photographs

Star Traders saw celebrities Myleene Klass and Kyran Bracken trading up a Shelter wet weather poncho for various items they could auction to raise funds.

Hardy & Greys Ltd traded an exclusive top of the range fishing rod to Marco-Pierre White, in return for a set of photos taken by Michael Winner on various film sets.

The company has now very kindly donated the photographs back to Shelter to be auctioned, and all profits will be added to the total raised by the Star Traders programme.

Even before this latest gift from Hardy & Greys Ltd, Star Traders made £35,000 by auctioning off a diamond necklace and earrings set, a gent's watch and signed Wayne Rooney football boots. Martin and Gill Fielding (star of Channel 4's Secret Millionaire programme) bought the lot.

Last week Senior Community and Events Manager Nicola Hanna went to fishing shop Farlow's on Pall Mall to receive the photos: one of Marlon Brando, one of Michael Winner himself and one of Faye Dunaway.

Nicola Hanna said: 'we are very grateful to Hardy & Greys for generously donating these exclusive photos back to Shelter.

'The images will be auctioned soon and all profits will go towards Shelter's vital work helping thousands of people across Britain to find and keep a home.'

Thank you to Hardy & Greys Ltd, and all the individuals and companies who helped make Star Traders such a great success.
