Stand up for Shelter

Comedian Stephen K Amos

Stephen K Amos (pictured) and Phil Nichol are just two of the top comedians backing Shelter's demand for more homes now. You can catch them and other leading talents at London's Comedy Store in March.

Stand Up For Shelter is a special benefit night of comedy now running for the second year. The event takes place on Monday 3 March at 8pm with further dates planned in June (Manchester) and September (London).

Star performers on the night will include Stephen K Amos, former Time Out stand up award winner and regular guest on Have I Got News For You, and Phil Nichol, stand-up veteran and if.comeddie award winner.

Other acts lining up to take the mic include the straight-talking US comic Reginald D Hunter, not one to shy away from controversial issues, and Radio 4 comedy writer and performer Mitch Benn who has penned songs for Channel 4's Bremner Bird And Fortune.

Also appearing on the bill is dry-as-a-bone comedian Tiffany Stephenson, and the Canadian stand-up Tanyalee Davis. At 3'6' Tanyalee is known as the Ferrari of comedy - low to the ground and racy.

The night rounds off with an incredible and indescribable performance by a charismatically-challenged uncle and mute nephew co-operative that is the Raymond and Mr Timkins Revue.

Don't miss out on this unique night of laughs for a cause.
