Thanks to our marathon runners

Marathon runners

250 Shelter runners took on the challenge of the London Marathon yesterday, and look set to have raised an incredible £450,000 for our work with homeless and badly housed people.

The day was unexpectedly bright and sunny, and Shelter cheerers were out in force, including friends and family of the runners, volunteers and staff members.

The runners got into the spirit of things by dying their hair Shelter red, wearing their stylish Shelter running vests or dressing in costume - we even had a Dennis the Menace on the team!

Many, many thanks to everyone who took part on Sunday, or who came along to support the team. Interested in running for us in 2010? Register your interest now
