Nationwide Building Society is supporting Shelter with a new scheme that plans to raise a fantastic £20,000 for our work with homeless and badly housed people.

From today, Nationwide will be donating £2 to Shelter for every quotation they make for Mortgage Life Assurance and Level Term Life Assurance.

Plus, if you decide take out Level Term Life Assurance through Nationwide, you will receive £50 in Marks & Spencer vouchers.

Nationwide and Shelter have been working together for a number of years and share a common commitment to helping people in housing need.

We meet on a regular basis to discuss important issues like affordable housing and responsible lending. Using our shared expertise we both hope to find real practical solutions, which will help to prevent more people becoming homeless in the future.

Dion Alday, Strategic Partnership Manager at Nationwide, said; 'We are really happy to be able to support Shelter with this initiative, to raise much needed funds for families who need help'.

Nationwide also invest in Shelter housing aid centres in Bristol, Dorset and Milton Keynes.

The centres provide wide-ranging services including everything from emergency housing advice to help with household budgeting and tackling debt.
