Cake Time causes a stir

Cake Time

Shelter supporters across the country have been cooking up a feast of cakes, buns and biscuits over the last couple of weeks to celebrate Cake Time, our delicious spring time fundraising event.

Now in its third year, Cake Time is an event where supporters bake or buy their favourite cakes, share them with friends or family, and collect donations for our work.

This year's Cake Time was supported by comedian Sue Perkins. She said; 'Cake Time is a great way to practise your cake making skills! With deliciously simple recipes and top fundraising tips, there really is no excuse not to get involved and help make a real difference.'

The event is aiming to raise a fantastic £50,000 for Shelter's work with homeless and badly housed people. A big thank you to everyone who joined in! If you took part and haven't sent in the money yet, find out how here

It's not too late to take part in Cake Time! Find out more
