Shelter was chosen as CBRE’s first ever UK-wide national charity partner following an employee vote.
We launched our two-year partnership in February 2015, and had managed to exceed our first year fundraising target within just 7 months! Funds are supporting our service delivery work across the UK, aligned to CBRE’s network of UK offices – and will ensure we can help more than 2,500 families.
Shelter really understood that we wanted this partnership to be more than just the money. It had to be about getting closer to our people and unlocking their desire to make a difference.

Staff have taken part in quizzes, treks, marathons, bake sales and much more. In total, fundraising has exceeded more than £300,000 – and events including the CBRE Great Property Bike Ride are helping us raise even more vital funds.
We also use CBRE’s extensive property knowledge and expertise to help us manage our network of services and shops on a pro bono basis, and have also enjoyed fantastic support through CBRE employee volunteering in our shops as well.
We are excited about the second year of our partnership will bring and have already got lots of exciting events in the calendar.
