By: Shelter Publication - April 2005 Shelter, in partnership with Rochdale Metropolitan Council, has developed Shelter Inclusion Project to pilot a new approach to tackling antisocial behaviour and addressing social exclusion. Using a floating-support model, the service is designed to tackle antisocial behaviour issues, their underlying causes, and, in so doing, reduce antisocial behaviour, promote social inclusion and prevent homelessness. The pilot phase of the project runs from October 2002 to October 2005. The University of York is undertaking an independent evaluation of Shelter Inclusion Project. This document provides a summary of the research findings from the first two years of the service, from October 2002 to the end of September 2004. See also |
