Homelessness strategies

Local authorities are required to take a strategic approach towards tackling and preventing homelessness in their areas. This section gives examples of good practice from a number of different agencies in developing and revising homelessness strategies.

Producing strategies that can be successfully implemented has required local authorities to identify gaps in their knowledge, develop good working relationships with other departments, and develop a multi-agency approach to homelessness and related issues.
