Summary
Rather than taking a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach, the briefing recognises the variety of ways in which individuals can lose their homes, and the different routes they can take through or into homelessness. It provides a ‘menu’ of costs so that users can build up a representative total by picking the costs that apply to the case or situation they are interested in.
