A comprehensive introduction to all aspects of community care as it relates to housing.
The course will ensure participants: understand the range of services that are potentially available under the umbrella of 'community care'; recognise services that may be available as of right; are familiar with the adult care process and the eligibility criteria defined by 'Fair Access to Care Services'; recognise the importance of services dovetailing with housing provision and the statutory linkage; and understand the mechanisms to challenge adverse decisions or inappropriate services.
