Rates and discounts

We offer a number of rates and discounts on Shelter Training courses, as well as special offers. Read this section to see which rates apply to your organisation, and to find out how you can get money off course costs.

Special offers: 'Key Housing Aid' course discounts

At Shelter venues

Book a place on Shelter's essential 'Key Housing Aid and Advice: Part A' and 'Part B' courses at one of our city centre venues and receive £150 off!

In order to receive the discount you must book online, book before 31 March 2009 and quote KEYAUG in the promotional code box on both online bookings. The same delegate may attend both courses or two colleagues may share the offer.

In-house training discounts

Book six or more staff on Shelter's 'Key Housing Aid and Advice: Part A' and 'Part B' courses to be held at a time and location of your choice and receive £350 off!

Public booking discount

Book any January-March 2009 course at our training venues in London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester and York online, quoting JANMAR09 in the promotional code box, and receive 15% off your course fee.

Please note: bookings must be made between 12 November 2008 and 31 March 2009.  Bookings must be made online using the promotional code. Conferences and seminar events are excluded from this offer. No other discounts (including multiple booking and early booking) will apply.

Early booking discount

Book at least three months in advance of the course start date for any course being held at our training venues in London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester and York, and receive 10% off your course fee.

Multiple booking discount 

If three or more delegates are booked onto the same training course a 10% discount will be applied automatically.  However if you are making three or more bookings over multiple courses please click here for a separate booking form.

Commercial rate

This applies to all commercial organisations including barristers and solicitors in private practice.

Standard rate

This applies to:

• local authorities;
• housing associations and other RSLs;
• statutory organisations, including HM Prisons, academic institutions and health services;
• large charities.

Concessionary rate

This applies to: small voluntary-sector projects/organisations and registered charities with fewer than 10 employed staff; CLS advice and law centres.

We are also able to offer a limited number of low-cost places to individuals who are students or unemployed, and organisations with very limited training budgets.

Terms and conditions

• Fees vary according to the course level and location, so please check the details of the course you are booking.
• Published fees are exclusive of VAT, which is charged at the standard rate of 17.5%.
