Child Protection for Housing Workers

This course will give housing workers an overview of safeguarding children and protection from abuse. This course is particularly important for those working in or managing services currently funded by Supporting People where the revised Quality Assessment Framework (April 2009) requires all funded services to be aware of and train their staff in Child Protection.

This course is suitable for any housing or advice workers visiting people in their own homes or their managers, as well as support or care workers primarily working with adults but also those working with under eighteen year olds. Also suitable for sheltered housing managers, forensic and other mental health workers and those managing support or care staff working with adults.
