Safeguarding Adults and Children

Course available: in-house only (on a date and location of your choice)

Delegates will explore basic awareness, legal frameworks, government guidance and systems for safeguarding both groups. They will also discuss data protection and confidentiality and how it fits with safeguarding. The course will also consider the future of safeguarding systems.

Course contains

  • Legal framework, guidance and government thinking on safeguarlding of both adults and children
  • Basic awareness of protection from abuse, elder abuse and child protection issues
  • Data Protection, confidentiality and reporting safeguarding concerns
