
Choice-based letting (CBL) is a new approach to the allocation of social housing that has quickly become an integral and accepted part of the Government's vision for the future.
This report identifies the positive effects of choice-based letting, but the research also highlights other effects that are a cause for concern. To minimize these negative effects, Shelter makes a number of recommendations for good practice.
