Living in limbo

Cover of Living in Limbo.

Reporting on the negative effects of living in temporary accommodation.

This report is the result of a survey of 2,000 homeless households living in temporary accommodation in England. The responses to the survey provide strong evidence of the negative effects of living in temporary accommodation on health, the education of their children and their opportunities to work.

The report offers some key recommendations for the 2004 Spending Review.
