Raji Hunjan

Chief Executive, Zacchaeus 2000 Trust

Raji Hunjan is the Chief Executive Officer of the Zacchaeus 2000 Trust, a London based anti-poverty charity campaigning for a fairer social security system and the prevention of homelessness.  She has extensive experience of combining direct services with policy, and campaigning to benefit local communities. She was formerly Operations Director at INQUEST with responsibility for fundraising and organisational change.  Prior to this, Raji was the director of North Kensington Law Centre where she took the lead in transforming the organisation following extensive cuts in legal aid.

Raji has a particular passion for strengthening community voice and engagement, to ensure better policy outcomes. Since working in the voluntary sector, client needs and lived experiences have been at the heart of all her strategic planning.  She previously spent many years at the Carnegie UK Trust developing a programme of work on power and participation, designed to build the capacity of small charities to work alongside communities to achieve social change.
