What do we provide?

  • Ideas for activities and events throughout the year: music gigs, coffee mornings, local debates, plays and other ideas to suit your audience and the issues you want to promote.
  • Planning tips: advice on venues, audiences, budgeting, when to hold your event, getting others involved and sharing the workload.
  • Free Shelter publicity materials: including stickers, balloons, posters, t-shirts, pens and leaflets, to make sure the event is as engaging as possible.
  • Advice on publicising your event: how to catch the eye of the people you want, making your cause clear and spreading the word through posters, flyers, word of mouth, online, on radio and in the press. Download a sample press release to help you.
