Living with your landlord?
Use this guide if your landlord lives in the building, but you only share a hallway, stairs or landing with them.
You have fewer rights if you live with your landlord and share living space with them. For example, a kitchen, bathroom or living room.

Your landlord has probably broken the law.
Most landlords need a court order to evict tenants.
Only court bailiffs can carry out an eviction. It is illegal eviction if your landlord throws you out themselves.
