No one should spend Christmas homeless
Imagine what it must be like to lose your home – especially at this time of year. It’s one of the toughest fights a family can face. But our helpline is open 365 days a year (yes, even on Christmas Day) to give people urgently needed advice.
However, our work wouldn’t be possible without the support of others. And last year, every single call answered over Christmas was funded by our partnership with M&S, who’ve supported us since 2005.
There are 125,000 homeless children in Britain right now. The truth is, we desperately need your help. Can you please make it your tradition to donate to Shelter at Christmas?
The difference our helpline makes
Our partnership with M&S
Over the last 12 years, M&S has raised £2.8m for Shelter by selling a festive collection of sandwiches, wraps, drinks and treats at Christmas. Every time you buy an item from the range, M&S donates 5% of its price to our helpline.
If you have an M&S Sparks card, you can also nominate Shelter as your chosen charity. M&S will donate a penny to Shelter each time you shop with them and swipe your card.
