Thelma Griffin

Thelma is a housing lawyer with over 25 years’ experience. She has worked both in-house for local authorities and for medium-large sized housing associations. Thelma has experience across all aspects of housing management - possession claims (unlawful occupation, breach of tenancy conditions), disrepair claims (including English Churches v Shine), statutory nuisance, fraud, anti-social behaviour, and unlawful subletting, as well as Equality Act cases. Thelma has delivered in-house training in many areas of housing law. She has recently been working for a Housing Association in South Wales where she provided bespoke training on the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016.
