Reverend Dr Mike Long

Commission chair and Minister of the Notting Hill Methodist Church

Dr Mike Long

Mike was ordained in 1992 and has spent almost 30 years in several appointments in London, also Surrey and North Wales, before moving to Notting Hill two years ago. Before training as a minister, Mike worked briefly in the voluntary sector with the homeless. He then studied Theology & Politics, and postgraduate work focussed on poverty, community engagement, and international debt. He’s also a member of the Methodist Church’s Faith and Order Committee, which advises on theological and doctrinal matters.
