Samia Badani

Samia Badani is a public and social policy consultant. She has lived in the Notting Dale area of North Kensington for over 17 years, and she’s currently the chair of a local residents’ association and co-chairs a ward-wide resident advisory network. She has played a key role in the voluntary sector for over 12 years, with extensive experience in housing – and worked for different London-based Citizens Advice offices with many initiatives at national and international level. As a former member of the Westminster Equality Board, Samia gained substantial experience and knowledge of the voluntary and statutory sectors, as well as the equality and human rights agenda. She has demonstrated her public and social policy expertise and strategic leadership both in the UK and the EU, having successfully led campaigns to improve policies and practices that affect communities across a wide spectrum.
