Raji Hunjan is currently the chief executive officer of the Zacchaeus 2000 Trust, an anti-poverty charity based in west London with a focus on welfare benefits and homelessness prevention. She has extensive experience of combining direct services with policy and campaigning to benefit local communities. She was formerly operations director at Inquest with responsibility for fundraising and organisational change.
Prior to this, Raji was the director of North Kensington Law Centre where she took the lead in transforming the organisation following extensive cuts in legal aid. She has a particular passion for strengthening community voice and engagement, and spent many years at the Carnegie UK Trust developing a programme of work on power and participation, designed to build the capacity of small charities to work alongside communities to achieve social change.
