Join celebrity readers Simon Callow and Brenda Blethyn, special guests, choirs and hundreds of fellow Shelter supporters for our annual evening of Christmas song and celebration.
Held in the historic St-Martin-in-the-Fields Church, it’s a chance to mark the start of the festive season while also helping those facing bad housing and homelessness.

Readers this year
We’re joined this year by acclaimed BAFTA and Golden Globe winner, and Academy Award nominee Brenda Blethyn, who will be reading a light hearted, modern, and humorous take on Christmas.
She’ll be accompanied by celebrated actor, director and writer Simon Callow. A Dickens biographer and enthusiast, Callow is set to reprise his one-man production of A Christmas Carol this winter – and we have the wonderful opportunity to hear him read an excerpt on the night.Apply for tickets
Across Britain, one family becomes homeless every 11 minutes. It doesn’t have to be this way. We’re here for everyone who needs us, but we need your support. This Christmas, you can help us make sure nobody has to face homelessness or bad housing alone.
We'll be asking for donations on the night, but if you would like to donate ahead of time, please click here. You'll still need to register for your free ticket above, so we can reserve you a space in the church.
