Our annual carol service returns for 2019 and we’d love for you to join us. Held at London’s historic St Martin-in-the-Fields Church, it’s set to be a fantastic evening of Christmas song and celebration..
With celebrity guest readers David Morrissey and Lemn Sissay MBE, carol singing with St Martin’s choral scholars and The Alex Woolf Choir, and hundreds of your fellow Shelter supporters in attendance, it’s the perfect way to kick off the festive season – all while helping us fight bad housing and homelessness, this Christmas and beyond.
Readers this year
This year’s readings will come from acclaimed actor and director David Morrissey and Lemn Sissay MBE, the playwright, broadcaster, poet and author of recent memoir “My Name is Why.”
We’ll also hear from someone with lived experience of homelessness, who will speak about exactly why Carols for Shelter is so important.
No one thinks that one day, they’ll be homeless. By supporting our work, you’re helping someone get back to a good place.
We’ll be collecting donations on the night, but if you would like to give something ahead of time, please click the donate button below. You’ll still need to register for your free ticket above so we can reserve you a space in the church.
Suggested donation: £20
