Payroll giving

Payroll Giving is the most tax-efficient way to donate to charity, allowing you to help people at risk of homelessness every time you’re paid.

For example, a £10 a month donation would only cost you £8. This is because Payroll Giving donations are deducted before tax, so we receive more money at no extra cost to you.

This provides us with a steady source of income. Knowing that we will receive your gift can make all the difference, as it means that we can plan ahead more effectively to help people struggling with bad housing and homelessness.

Setting up a Payroll Gift to Shelter

You can set up your donation in a couple of ways:

What if I change jobs or retire?

If you change jobs, you can continue to give through your pay as long as your employer is registered with a Payroll Giving Agency (PGA). Alternatively, or if you retire, you can set up a direct debit to replace the gift here.

How your Payroll Gift will help us

Every 10 minutes in England, another family loses their home.

But we’re here to help, 365 days a year. Your donations could help us find them safe, secure places to live. With every payday gift you give, you can help make this vital work possible.
