Shelter West Midlands (Birmingham)
Shelter’s Birmingham hub provides free, expert housing advice from trained advisers on a wide range of housing and debt issues including homelessness, housing applications, housing benefit and issues relating to fuel poverty.
Our solicitors offer legal advice and court representation in housing cases including possession hearings, evictions and anti-social behaviour injunctions, for those eligible for legal aid.
Computers and phones are available for you to use at Shelter Birmingham, and dedicated support staff are on hand to offer practical and emotional support for families experiencing difficulties with settling into new accommodation, or at risk of homelessness or domestic abuse.
Drop in services are available weekdays (except Wednesdays) from 9am – 1pm, or call for appointments or further information
