Shelter South Yorkshire (Sheffield)
Shelter's South Yorkshire hub is based in Sheffield.
The hub offers free specialist housing advice, support and guidance if you are homeless, facing homelessness or simply need advice about a housing related issue.
Our trained advisers provide face to face help with a range of housing topics including:
- eviction or repossession
- repairs and responsibilities
- landlord disputes
- managing debt and rent arrears
If you are eligible for legal aid for eviction, repossession or an anti-social behaviour injunction, our legal advisers will support you up to and through a court hearing.
The hub also offers a range of housing related support services for single people, couples and families. Advice and support is usually delivered in your home or another suitable place. Together we'll look at the reasons for your housing or homelessness problems and make a plan to try to prevent you facing housing issues in the future.
We also offer advice on fuel debt and energy problems.
All support and advice is confidential, impartial and tailored to individual need. Please call for more information or to make an appointment.
