Ongoing / future research projects

We will be monitoring the impact of the introduction of the Local Housing Allowance, initially focusing on the Broad Market Rental Areas and their impact on affordability for HB claimants.
- Further work is also planned on mortgage arrears and repossessions.
Research contractors database
While Shelter carries out part of its research in-house, a significant proportion of our research programme is commissioned externally, and we maintain a database of researchers to enable us to draw on a wide range of experience and skills when we put work out to tender.
