Letter to the Prime Minister: Protecting private renters in the Queen's Speech

The increase in the cost of living is already hitting families hard across the country, but those in private rented homes are especially vulnerable. For the 11 million people living in the private rented sector, the rising cost of rent, bills and food is compounded by the insecurity they face in their homes. Without reform, private renters will continue to live with the fear that their landlord could serve an eviction notice for no fair reason at a time where they simply do not have the means to avoid homelessness.

Please write to the Prime Minister ahead of the Queen's Speech to ensure that the government's Renters' Reform Bill is prioritised in the next parliamentary session, so that we can finally end unfair no fault evictions for good.
