    This workshop helps delegates who apply the Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED) in their cases and who support individuals with housing, ensuring that equality considerations are properly addressed.

    This online event includes:

    • an overview of the Equality Act and the Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED)

    • an overview of who may be affected and why the PSED is necessary, with case examples

    • case law that explains how the PSED works in homelessness cases

    • a detailed look into what the general duty entails, case examples of how to demonstrate compliance with the duty and practical tips on complying with the duty
