Mary Foulkes OBE FCIPD

Mary became Director of Equity, Inclusion and Culture in March 2022. She has responsibility for developing and delivering a strategy aligning and integrating a range of new and existing initiatives, policies, and procedures into a cohesive, transformational, and sustainable plan and programme of activities. The priority is the delivery of Shelter’s Anti Racism Strategic plan. Mary has worked in the private, public and third sectors where she has experience in delivering large scale culture change and transformation programmes and has experience implementing equality and diversity strategic plans, including improving the diversity of representation at a senior level. Mary received an OBE for the time and effort spent on voluntary work and fundraising for several charities.
