Off the Streets: Tackling Homelessness Among Female Street-based Sex Workers

Street-based sex workers are currently one of the most excluded and marginalised groups of homeless people, with service providers often failing to recognise and understand their needs.


This review, by the Street Homeless Project at Shelter, highlights the need for a range of supported options for street-based sex workers and shows how partnerships between specialist agencies and mainstream service providers can meet the complex needs of this group.
