Response - Targets and Action for Reducing B&B: The Way Forward

In our response Shelter argued that the objective of the targets should be to:

  • reduce the number of households that have to live in bed and breakfast

  • focus effort and attract resources, at a local and national level, to tackling the problem

  • A simple numerical reduction target would be the best way to achieve this.

Shelter's response also addressed short, medium, and long-term solutions to reducing the use of bed and breakfast accommodation.
