    This event will cover:

    • how homelessness increases the risk of modern slavery and trafficking

    • the signs of exploitation and the legal frameworks

    • the National Referral Mechanism (NRM) referral process, timelines and survivor entitlements

    • support for survivors throughout the NRM referral

    • prevention strategies at the universal and local authority levels
