How to book Shelter training

Use our training portal to book housing and homelessness training courses, live webinars and elearning.

Log in to the training portal

Join our training portal, AccessplanIT, to book training and events. If you already have an account, you can log in now.

You will need your username and password to log in. You can reset your details in the training portal.

Use our training portal to register for an account.

Enter your professional email address and select your organisation. If your organisation isn't listed, contact us at training@shelter.org.uk.

Booking training for other people

When you register, you'll be asked if you book other people onto training. Select yes to be set up with a manager account so you can book training and create new accounts for your team.

If you have an account already and need manager access, email us at training@shelter.org.uk so we can set you up.

Add courses to your basket

You can add courses using the booking links on the course page or by adding them to your shopping basket in the training portal.

Check out in our training portal

Once you've added courses to your basket, you need to check out to access training.

Payment can be made via card, or you can request access to payment by invoice by emailing training@shelter.org.uk for orders over £500.

Once your training is booked you will receive a confirmation email with details of how to access the course.

Book MHCLG funded training

Some of our training is free for eligible organisations, funded by the The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.

If you are eligible for MHCLG funded training, you still need to check out via the training portal. The cost of the course will appear as £0 and you will not be charged.

These courses cannot be purchased by individuals from non-eligible organisations.
