As part of the Motiv8 programme, we provide housing advice, welfare benefits, debt support, and legal services, to help Motiv8 participants struggling with bad housing or homelessness. We also provide specialist advice via our Helpline Plus telephone service.
Motiv8’s work
Motiv8 supports people to overcome challenges preventing them from moving into training and employment. It is led by Manchester Athena, a partnership of housing associations working together to transform people’s lives by improving their skills, employment, health and wellbeing.
Motiv8 is funded by £14 million from European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund, as part of the Building Better Opportunities programme.
The programme will support over 5,000 people to overcome multiple complex needs, and move them closer to training and work.
