Join Shelter for an 18-mile trek over the iconic Hadrian's Wall. Challenge yourself, get active and step up to help end the housing emergency.
Whether you're an experienced hiker or a first-time adventurer, we'd love for you to join the team. We'll walk a linear route from Walltown to Chollerford, along some of the most spectacular sections of Hadrian's Wall. The challenge will take about eight and a half hours to complete.
Get your family, friends or colleagues together and lace up those hiking boots! Prepare for an unforgettable day of fun, stunning views and the satisfaction of knowing you're walking for a purpose.
You must be over 14 years old to take part in the Hadrian's Wall Challenge. Anyone under 18 needs written permission from their parent or guardian.
What you get from us:
a fully qualified mountain guide for the entire walk, who will make sure you don't miss the best sights and photo opportunities
ongoing fundraising support from our Events team
access to a private Facebook event group with training tips
a full kit list
a Shelter branded t-shirt
a finisher goodie bag sponsored by Starbucks Sunderland
