The route

Our route is fully accessible, well-marshalled by volunteers and can be taken at your own pace.

The 5k walk through central Manchester by night takes in some of the city's iconic sites.

Beginning at the Shelter hub in Watson Street, you'll walk through the bustle of Manchester's central shopping streets.

The route takes you past the Alan Turing memorial, through the world-famous Piccadilly Gardens, then to Shelter's other hub in Swan Street.

Finally, you'll return to the start point down the historic Deansgate.

How your walk helps end the housing emergency

We're fighting for a future where everyone has a safe home. Many people don’t know where to turn for help. People living in unsafe or unfit housing. People with no permanent place to call home.

The incredible funds you raise will help defend everyone's right to a safe and secure home. Join us and stand with people facing homelessness or housing injustice.
