'Tis the season for Christmas jumpers

18 December 2009

Whistles has joined forces with their creative partners to create a series of limited edition ‘Christmas jumpers’. For every jumper sold, £25 will be donated to Shelter.

Made from lovely soft grey cotton with a loose fit (and therefore perfect for turkey induced weight gain) the jumper is available in four different designs:

Whistles Design Team jumper

Nick Passmore, Design Director Whistles, designed the dog print for her Christmas Jumper.

'Meet Doogie, our Whistles dog in residence and mascot. Only Doogie could wear a cracker hat with such panache!'

Partner + Partner

Christopher Simmonds, Art Director of creative agency Partner + Partner designed the snowflake print for his Christmas jumper.

'Inspired by classic Christmas jumpers knitted by family members, this was an attempt to update that. It will definitely be worn on Christmas day, for the lunch, with the paper hat sat firmly on top of my head!'

Fran Burns

Fran Burns, Senior Editor-at-Large at LOVE magazine designed the reindeer print for her Christmas jumper.

'The print was inspired by Keith Haring, reindeers and a love of neon.  It can be worn from the end of November through to the 12th of Jan with a smile.'

Victoria Young

Victoria Young, Fashion Director at LOVE magazine worked with illustrator Kez Glovier who designed the prints for her Christmas jumper.

'I can’t believe I was asked to create my favourite item of seasonal clothing, a Christmas jumper. I’ve been known to wear them in spring! I hope it brings you Christmas cheer!'

The jumper retails at £75 and is available in selected Whistles stores as well as Whistles.co.uk
