Briefing: Growing Up Homeless

Analysis of the latest government data shows 1 in every 100 children in England will wake up homeless this Christmas.

Funded by Trust for London and the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, Shelter has carried out the largest ever survey of homeless households living in Temporary Accommodation (TA). This briefing focuses on the difficult time thousands of children face growing up homeless and stuck in TA. Our research shows how life in TA impacts negatively on all aspects of their lives, including their education, development and mental health.
